Yanmar Construction Equipment : Mini-Excavators

The history of Compact excavators is synonymous with Yanmar's excavator history.
Since Yanmar introduced the first compact excavator to the market in 1971, Yanmar has always taken the lead in the industry.

ViO15-2 The ViO15-2 allows efficient operation in tight spaces. The tracks will hydraulically retract to a narrow 37 inches for traveling through narrow passageways and then expand to 47 inches for greater stability while digging. The hydraulic control levers are carefully positioned to permit easy entry and exit to and from the work station. ROPS/FOPS Canopy protects against operator injury. ViO20-3 The ViO20-3 series excavators utilize multiple variable displacement piston pumps and gear pumps. The load sensing pumps in combination with YANMAR's innovative hydraulic circuitry design, allow fast, smooth and powerful performance even when combining functions of the boom, arm bucket and swing. The cylinder rods on the VIO series boom, arm and bucket are protected by spring steel guards. The guards help prevent inadvertent damage to cylinders. ViO27-5 No part of the ViO27-5 housing extends beyond the tracks. Allows efficient operation in tight spaces. Accessing to more jobs and job locations. Less damage to the machine on the job. Better visibility which will Increase Safety. Angled crawler frame reduces unwanted build up of foreign matter which helps with a cleaner undercarriage. Plus Large opening rear hood for easier maintenance to the engine. The standard equipment hydraulic coupler expands the versatility of the ViO series by allowing a variety of bucket sizes or attachments to be used, saving the contractor the expense of bringing other machines to the job site. ViO45-5 The shape of the universal boom on the ViO45-5 is so regular that it has no fragile points. The side plate is about 1.5 times thicker than that of a conventional model. The result is the strength for safe use with many different attachments. Air conditioning for a cool comfortable workplace. Joystick pilot controls with arm rests are convenient to use and reduce operator fatigue. Plus access for fueling, radiator fill, alternator and tool storage is easy. Integrated boom light is protected from damage. Angled crawler frame reduces unwanted build up of foreign matter. The audible traveling alarm signals people nearby when the machine is being moved. SV100 The "SV" means Ultra-Tight Turning. The turning radius in both front and rear is very minimal. This smooth, tight turning radius add versatility on a tight work site. We now have 2 models in "SV" series, with the smallest model, SV08 (2348 lbs) and the largest model, SV100 (20,730 lbs). The ease of overhead windshield storage helps reduce windshield damage.
